3 Players of Note:
1) Mike Winther C Prince Albert - He's impressive in the sense that he can play in a variety of roles much like a lot of the players on the Raiders. He has some offensive potential but his real value will be in a utility knife type role. He play anything in a pinch and likely do well at it. Solid game for Winther tonight.
2) Marek Tvrdon RW Vancouver - It's the first game I've seen him play this year where he had a bit of a feisty side. He really battled for his ice and scored on a nice low slapper from the point on the power play. At 6'2" 217 lbs, it would be a shame if he didn't play with at least a little bit of an edge. When he plays with some push, he can be a handful to deal with.
3) Mark McNeill C Prince Albert - McNeill played a pretty quiet game until he potted the winner in the end, then everyone knew he was on the ice. McNeill's game is very much a pro style game. Excellant surveyor from the center position, attacks off the edges well, a lot of Mike Modano in his game without the offensive polish as of yet. Plays the PP and PK very well, an excellant special teams player. It's too bad he doesn't have a prolific burner that can score off the wing with him. It's something that's abundantly lacking in Prince Albert.
